VICHADA, A MAJESTIC DESTINATION!

We leave behind the Eastern Cordillera to meet the Meta River, which crosses all our plain (llano) until we reach Puerto Carreño, Vichada. A beautiful town where the Guayanés shield begins; A place with rock formations of more than 2,500 million years, where the sun wakes us earlier and we can appreciate it from the Hill of the Flag, and the reddest sunset you can find in Colombia. There is no better place than the Orinoco River to swim with pink dolphins. A few minutes are enough to begin to see them everywhere, curious jumping near the boats.

Continue our trip with a flyover to the Tuparro, on the way we will fly over Tepuys, the name that the tribes gave to those huge formations that are part of the Guayanes shield, or we can also sail through the Orinoco, a couple of hours enjoying The incredible view that this millennial river is teaching us.

Once in the park you can enjoy the pristine beaches, which, without fear of falling into exaggeration, can easily be the most beautiful freshwater beaches in America. The powerful stream of Maipures, a spectacle where the river vigorously strikes the rock, offering a sight and a great sound. And at night the starry sky, distant and clean will be a favorite memory.

We will fly back to Bogota, where we will leave with some surprises.
